VOi! at the Kentucky Derby May 27 2013
Chrishell Stause shows off her new VOi iPhone Cases!
I know this post is long over-due in two ways, first our last post was over a month an a half ago, and to add to that The Kentucky Derby was over 7 months ago. Well as the saying goes late is better than never... So on to the derby. For those of you who are unaware, the Kentucky Derby is more than a Race it's a Social event. Every year "the derby" as it's called attracts big name celebrities from Hollywood film, and Music along with a host of sports figures and most notably horses. For those curious, the Historical bloodline to Louisville for VOi! is that half of our Leadership team originally hails from there. Being half from Louisville, VOi! was cordially invited by none other than Andre' Wilson to come down and be a part of the celebrity magic at the STYLE ICON Celebrity Gifting Suite held at the Gault House in downtown Louisville. While at the suite not only did we get the chance to introduce the celebs to VOi!, we were fortunate to be introduced to a few up and coming brands while at Suite, namely Lip-Stix ReMix's Jill Quillin and our Suite Neighbor Deuce Brand, Gary Hughs. The STYLE ICON Suite was a great opportunity to share the gift of VOi! with a host of celebrities like Cheryl James and Pepa , American Idol soulster Rubin Studdard, Baseball Icon Barry Bonds and famous smoke monster and Lost Series hero Terry O'quinn, and the unforgettable hype-man Nick Ferrera (aka Rinickulous) All of The stars were glad to show off their new VOi! Swag and a host of them were delighted to leave their mark on our collection of celeb autographed cases. After hours we partied till the wee hours at the Brown-stable party courtesy of Louisville promoter Gerald Palmer. We closed out the event at a private party hosted by Connor Custom Jewelers where we actually hung with Joey Fatone, Jawanna Kidd and others overlooking the river. As this derby goes down in history, I'm looking forward to next years' event. Hopefully then I can even make it to the race.
